Sprouts: From Roots to Fruits
Building Biblical Foundations
Growing Strong in Our Faith
Being Thankful in Everything We Do!
“You received Christ Jesus as Lord. So keep on living your lives in Him. Have your roots in Him. Build yourselves up in Him. Grow strong in what you believe, just as you were taught. Be more thankful than ever before.” Colossians 2:6-7 (NIrV)
Sprouts is open to children from birth through fifth grade and is held Sunday mornings 9:15-10:15 a.m. Its purpose is to build foundations about Jesus at a young age. We want our children to learn about Jesus so that one day they can have a relationship with him. Sprouts is broken down into smaller groups based on age.
- Sprouts (Grades 1-5): This class uses a fun curriculum called “Bible Studies for Life.” We spend the first five minutes learning about the books of the Bible and how to find them. We use games, songs, and even videos to help us learn our lesson and Bible study.
- Seedlings (Preschool Ages 2 – Kindergarten): This class uses the first ten minutes for playtime with our friends! Following our play time, we begin our lesson time from the “Bible App for Kids Curriculum.” Each lesson has a Bible story that continues for a few weeks, with something new to learn each week about the story. We also have a memory verse time and songs with our lesson.
- Acorns (Birth – 2 Years): This class enjoys time to play with toys, occasional crafts, and stories or videos that show them who Jesus is, and that they are loved by God.
